Race and youth violence

This training will: Give you an understanding on the links between race and youth violence.

After this training you will be able to:

• Understand the links between race discrimination and the criminal justice system
• Increase you cultural competency on race issues
• Analyse the unconscious racial bias in your organisation and how to dismantle them
• Use effective strategies help make traditional white spaces comfortable for people of colour

Space will be given to consider how your own practice can best address and support young people at risk or impacted by youth violence in regards to race.
